Well, I have taken a hiatus from blogging while working for Apple on the Maine Learning Technology Initiative. I’m traveling the state working with students and teachers on integrating technology into the learning process. I’m still here. I’ll probably pick this blog back up some day. Stay tuned.
I wouldn’t normally post two TedTalks in a row but this one is just to big to pass up.
If you read edutim then I am sure you have seen one of the most famous TEDTalks of all time: Sir Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity. Four years have passed and he recently spoke at TED again. This time about the needed learning revolution. Enjoy.
It has been a while since I posted. Sorry about that. However, you have to see this Ted talk by Dan Meyer. He does a brilliant job talking about what needs to change in today’s math classroom. As one who had trouble with math as a student and deeply regrets the way I was taught, this speaks to me. It is worth a watch.
